The only thing i ever cloned was my bus pass when i was 17, even then i got caught LOL

I think you misunderstood the £75 thing honcho, those were the wholesale prices from rayyonics.

Johnfisher,

Yes, Rayyonics are a good company. Down to earth & honest. For those of you that dont know about police raids, bank accounts are frozen whilst investigations take place. So once this all has blown over, i am sure, those that are owed money will be refunded in full.

Lets all stop this tit for tat retaliation, afterall tommorow is Christmas Day.

These last few days have been somewhat hostile.

I hold no grudges against anyone. So let bygones be bygones & i wish everyone a very Merry Christmas including Johnfisher .

Cheers

Zemme

I personally wouldnt touch any Eurovox products until this whole Rayyonics case is over. be it original, clone or from another factory. And tbh, he is a nice guy, i didnt mean to have a go at him. He would always offer me replacements and good prices. I dont like buying a product where the manufacturer is under scrutiny. but thats me.

Im sorry if i caused you or anyone in this thread any grief.

Your not the only one

When i was 15, i got caught by the British Transport Police cause i forgot to get off at the right stop. I got off 1 stop too late because i fell asleep.

When i went to get off, they asked for my ticket & was taken to court for fare evasion of 60p, yes you read right, 60p.

I got fined £120. Shocking

LOL. "Fare Evasion". good one.

I got my old bus pass and changed the date on it. Spent the bus fare money on cigarettes... but it soon caught up on me!

I was let off though.

I better log off before i start talking crap. The brandy content in my bloodstream has reached critical levels.

Merry XMAS zeeme.

dont sound like you have recent firmware mate, UFL_EX5000_DarX_01-12-08 , and leave it on sly sports 1 to update code automatically.

Hi Guys, have been reading this with some interest, I have one of these ex5000's, it use to freeze on me from time to time, just had to switch off on the back and back on, everything then worked fine for a few days. One time, i went to switch it back on, now nothing, its dead, no display, no power light. I opened it up expecting it to be a fuse/cap problem, couldnt find anything wrong, I even tried the power supply in my friends ex5000, and to my surprise, it powered his main board. So it looks like i basically have an issue with the main board, mine has the metal on the heatsink, I have the reset switch also. I have checked most of the though-hole caps on the main board, they all have voltage in them, I have tried to program while switching the unit on etc etc, nothing at all.

Any ideas on this one would be great, many thanks

Sounds like the bootloader is corrupt and will require jtagging although i dont rember seeing any ex5000 tsop's around
Have a search of the forum for "jtagging" its quite a simple procedeure but you will need the ex5000 tsop to flash to it.
