I'm quite new to this so not sure if i have 'bricked' it - but have updated all these boxes before with the last firmware (21/04/08) and had no problems.
Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Thanks!

Same problem I think mine has been bricked it's not a clone. but will not get passed 0000 on main , no menu and after flashing it again, its still a brick...
Help anyone????

It said 0000 on mine too. It's because it wipes out your list of channels. You either need to backup your channel list before you update and restore it afterwards - which is the quickest way, but perhaps too late for you now! - or do a power scan as if you were setting it up for the first time, but then you'll have to customise your channel list again.

I'm pretty sure that's your problem Mike.

I managed to get it working first time on Ex5000, MAX V, Max Red and Max Blue.

Thanks again everyone who has supported the rolls and new fw.

Nah its Bricked, no menu, no option to rescan. Had this for 18 months, updated firmware load of times. And i have saved my channel list. Do everytime i update my favorites or do a rescan for new channels.
And its not a clone , because of the tuner length. (Clones have an Inferiour Tuner, which is 3~5 cm longer). Just wanted to know if someone has a firmware wipe program, so i can put the base firmware back on.

Updated a Eurovox Max Blue no problems whatsoever. Took a few mins for the channels to come on and didn't need to use my backed up cdf file.

Thanks chaps

some peeps getting 0000 or 0001 and blank screen if uve tried that channel list fix and it didnt work
then somehow its the scart av disconnect that and hook up ur eurovox to tv with coxial cable
on back of eurovox it goes in where it says tv/vcr and connect the other end to back of tv
then tune on tv till u get the screen asking u for a code its 1004 if 0000 doesnt work i know people who jtag will say this is for jtagging but trust me it does work for people who have it only after a firmware flash i dont know why it would knock out av scart but it does try it anyway and if it works it works if it doesnt then ohwell

dont forget if it does work do a factory default and scart should come back
