Default feedback on new firmware

As a big thanks to the people who have helped with the new firmware, i felt a post was needed firsty to say thanks and also any feed back

This is my feedback so far

on a vox 1000 i did, it went very quick and also when flashed it was only on "code updating" for a few seconds and was back on and all my fav`s where in place ( I had to re do a scan as well )

now on the max V I had some problems:

Firsty is took 3 times to flash it, for it to work ( I had to re do a scan as well ) 10 mins for the "code updating screen " to get the channels back
Also when I pressed "FAV" nothing happened, when i went into the fav manager, nothing was there, so it was all deleted. I uploaded a saved .cdf and would not take to the box. So i have to do it via voxer or box now

Just a heads up and a feedback

think some peeps getting worries when they see 0000 after theyve firmware flashed the box all they do is either go to delete channels and full scan or just upload cdf

had success and no probs with Vmax or EX1000, except as stated favs no longer predetermined, which is no great prob as they got this wrong anyway !! but have had probs with cdf file once favs are sorted, it just wiped recipient box and had to re-scan. any suggestions !
cheers

Apparently April's date is there because this FW is an update, not a release. Its likely a few minor lines of code has changed in this version, which doesn't warrant a new relase.

EX5000 PVR.

Downloaded the new DNupMan update, connected the box, downloaded the update to my box via the serial cable, waited a couple minutes to let the download finish and install, connected it back up to the telly and away we went. Even maintained my CDF file and favourites.

Top bombing.

Yes a very big and deserved thanks go to all those concerned

I did the Max V
took slightly longer to flash the firmware but went OK
I didn't scan as I uploaded and downloaded my cdf file, again no problems.
The UFL crashes if I try to edit a cdf file but so did the April firmware (I use Voxer)
must say I'm a very happy chappy
