A painful lesson here! SV 1 is no more! Effectively this could happen with all boxes bar Linux ones...what lesson to learn then? The future (whatever/however long this may be) is in LINUX! It's Open source and big companies are not behind it! Wee guys that love the hobby are, that's why it's best! IMHO ONLY PURCHASE LINUX BASED FROM NOW ON!

I Have one and its called "The Box" cant seem to find a fix for that anywhere my The box super is working fine
and all the evos now so i guess it just a matter of time for the People who own "the Box" and Starview/1 i guess you will have to just use key-master from now on untill some1 does a fix.. it can be annoying but just look at what you get when it works..

if there is no fix for the starview 1 or the starview 2 (the box) you can bet later on there will be no support for the starview 3 (the box super) or starview 4 (usb) so in the future if your want a cable box be sure to avoid starviews

i hope your right jimbo, but looking at the evidence as has been said in other posts there does,nt seem to be any urgency as to getting the firmware updated at the moment as with the other boxes they were straight on the case and had it sorted in super quick time....
just hope its the case of the fault is out of our control at the moment and normal service will resume as soon as possible ? |

Its weard case being though they did sort it last year and i mean i dont know how hard the codeing must be but they must have last years files stored somewhere,
They know exactly whats going on with the image and why its not working, can they not just reopen the edited version from last year and change the codeing again, I mean it must have been a big effort last year to work out where the codes gone wrong now they know where they should be able to open and go stright to the problem, If they are were not going to support it they should release the image to the public and let them mess around lol that way they dont have to support the images, Thanks for reading again i think if they purly are not happy with supporting they should sell for a fee,

if they won't make fix for sv1 then thats stupid and our loss its not like we got ancient technolohy like vcr or betamax.
I won't be buying sv again ill choose one of the other boxes such as krypt, itgate or eurovox! |

The guys that make the Starviews are probably milionaires now and are 2 busy in swimming pools etc to do the software, I'd love for them to bring out a starview 1 and pvr fix as my neighbour has these and bugs me for the keys all the time.
It will happen or someone will reverse engineer the firmwares and we will be making our own soon I bet. |
