Unless your going for an original box i.e. pace/sammy then any box will work in any area such as starview/eurovox.

Personally I have a starview, so would reccomend as you also have one then upgrade to the new starview 4 usb.

Eurovox seems to be a very popular choice with many people.

All depends what you feel most comfortable with using (and fixing)

Personally, I know this is the Starview section, but the Dbox2 or the Dreammedia seem to be supported faithfully through hard times (many many years!!). You have to ship out a bit more initially, but these boxes were the first to find a fix this time (they are ANCIENT!). And if the Starview guys are ditching their older models, they surely will do that soon with their newer ones! So I'd TOTALLY avoid them judging by how the programmers are treating fairly recent customers!!

totally agree mate.dreamboxes are my no 1,a little harder to sort out but so much more to them and the support is grade A .also when vermin roll out nagra 3 next year all these other boxes will be obsolete.but dreamboxes are open source linux and with a quick fix will still carry on giving us our viewing pleasure

i have eruo vox max v 2008 and i havent got a bad word to say about it epg is great ,its instant ,very valuable for channel hoppers like me ,can see what is on now and next its really easy to sort out channels its well supported

i also bought a starview the box pvr what a load of sh*t that is !!! its rubbish! its so bad i cant even go into all the problems with it , its been in a bad need of an update for over a year now just to make a usable box but none has emerged and now with the key troubles a fix hasnt emerged yet
most other boxs have had one already so its not looking good at all ,ive been trying to find out about it ?with no sucsses
but i do know this much i will never ever touch another starview box again

but like stated above Linux box's are the way forward and i personally have just taken an interest in the itgate boxs (black pearl) which are also a Linux box and are really highly regarded around the world worth a good look at even dreambox owners have been recommending them sat kings are selling them just want a bit more info
