Dream Box Rom 7

Hi All,
Can any of you nice peeps help Dream Box newbie.
Have new rom 7 but cant find guide on how to connect to box.
Have cross over cable etc

I am using laptop, XP have cross over cable and loads of Dream Box stuff.
Cant seem to find idiots guide
Very good with Eurovox
I have also done a nocia Dbox2

change your ip to one above the box you can google how to change ip adress on xp should look like this on your laptop once you have clicked on use the following ip adress



IP-Address 192.168.0.3 set one above box
sub Net Mask 255.255.255.0
Def Gateway 192.168.0.2 set as ip of your dbox can get the ip using the remote in setting network on dbox
the click ok plug cross over in to the box turn off all fire walls and anti virus then rebout box open your fxp click on site manager then new site you can name it whatever you want then put in the boxs ip in nad user name should be dreambox and password should be dream box click connect you will now be in drag the rom 7 file in to var/keys and delete all there roms ie 10 11 ect so all you have is the 3 rom 7 files the one you replaced and the 2 that where there disconneced and rebout leave on sky one for 5 min and should come back on
