It shoud come with an F plug adaptor so you can plug a feed into it, and it should come with a Null Modem Cable should you wish to connect it to a PC for playing around with it.. It will probably come to you preloaded with just FTA firmware (Plug it in and you'll only get the free channels)

To get the other channels you would need to change the firmware on the box, using the Null Modem Cable.. It would then become quite an illegal box . But thats up to you ..
