Am having same problem with MAX RED. It keep saying Not Fit For This Reciever.

Not a clone either m8 and the picture i showed him was of the lid of the box...http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u..._Complete3.jpg just to make sure it was red.

Problem is now resolved....put in the V firmware into the red box....powerscan and all is working now.

was going to say, I had this problem in April with a red box. it had the latest black box insides in it. red fw wouldnt work. tried blue in case the factory had used up old blue bits. no change. in desperation, tried black fw and it worked.
