Hi all I have a Sagem dbos(1) and have put a new image on without any problems so I can now get all the FTA channels;How do I put in the ROM7 file? I do not want to reflash the box Just put in ROM7 any body know how to do it I have all the correct cables and can see the ROM files in the dbox empty! So no other channels

Have reflashed the dbox with Blade Quad, (first time I've done anything like this, it was a bit nerve racking) any how seems to be working however cannot get any normal channels i.e., BBC, ITV etc. Have done a scan and put the location down to search. I used to have 200 channels now only have about 30. I've obviously done something wrong. Any ideas would be grateful.

In addition the channels that I do get keep freezing and the picture / sound keeps breaking, what does anyone suggest ??

Check all the cables are inserted correctly and then rescan for channels. If your picture is still freezing, try a different combination of ucode and emu. If you are still having problems with freezing pics/ breaking sound, try another image :-)

Hi have checked all the necessary cables and have tried the following images Blade Quad, Quavis, Lincsat 7.25 Fullish now I can't do anything will not scan for any channels no matter what I scan it under sym6887, sym6952, all, pretty much fed up with the blooming thing, it's about to go in the bin unless someone can advise me.

Images load up fine, just won't find anything !!!!

26.01.09: Finally managed to get the box to work with Blade Quad, made sure auto updates is on, scanned and received channels, hoorah must be getting the hang of this now, however, not receiving terrestrial channels BBC, ITV and after a while the picture starts to intermitently freeze on all channels, would I be wise to try another image or as you say combination of Ucode and emu but not sure what to put them under.

great for this tut ... being pulling ma hair oot last few days using IFA ,, but doing it this way was the best for me thank you .

Good stuff, but it is useful if you know how to do IFA as well. Let us know which part of the IFA process you were having problems with, and maybe someone will know how to solve it, as well as enlightening a few others along the way. After all, thats what forums are for :-)

Hi guy's run in to a little problem with D box since keys were changed I have no channels other than the norm bbc etc in the keylist.txt folder there is no keys available it is also in white text so you can't seem to input keys manually.I followed subzero post on transferring the new Nagrarom 7 bin file and it seemed to work fine but I am at a loss as to what went wrong, below are a few files which are on the D box but I don't know if something is missing.

Hi this is my first input in this forum. my friend gave me dbox2 which stop woking last week. i spend 2 days reading different methods and i come with a very easy sulotion for FTA to box as my PC dont have serial and i also dont have RJ45 cross cable.

software called DreamboxControlCentre (can be downloaded fron chatterbox toolbar).
just simply connect your box with normal RJ45 cabel with your router press serch under the dbox picture it will pick it up and then click connect butten you are fully connected.
its very easy to use and i manage to reflash through FTA without any problem.
