Make sure your firewall is disabled and you have done the following:
On the PC go to START BUTTON > SETTINGS > CONTROL PANEL and open the NETWORK CONNECTIONS

Right-click the network card (it may say Local Area Connection),
and select PROPERTIES > CONFIGURE > ADVANCED tab

Highlight the ‘Connection Type’ (in the left window),
and in the right ‘Value window there is a drop down menu (it will probably currently say automode)
Change the Value to 10 full mode then OK

And follow everything else in the guide :-)

Mine tends to work fine with 10 full, but try humforce's suggestion. Btw which FTP program are you using? If you are still having problems connecting, do a forum search for the IFA method and try that.

Hey sub zero..

I'm currently having to manually input new key's into my dbox2 everytime there's a new keyroll..

my var/keys/ folder currently contains the following:

Autoupdate.Key
camd_cfg
Keylist.txt
nagrarom7.bin

I hardly have any files in my box compared to yours lol, which is probably why my keys don't update automatically.. any idea's mate? cheers...

Just flash a new auto updating image for your box. A guide on how to do this is on post 17 of this thread. Good luck

Thanks for the quick reply mate, I've read through your excellent flashing guide and i think my dbox2 is currently using a sportster image (a sportster logo appears when I boot my dbox2) but i was wondering what is the "new auto updating image" for my box and where can I download it from buddy?

I initially thought the "nagrarom7.bin" was the autoupdating image (which I transferred into my box via Flash FXP) but its still not currently updating the keys.. so now i'm a little puzzled and not sure where to go from here..

Also, how can I make sure that I use the correct 1x or 2x Image?

Sorry for the questions mate, I'm a complete newbie to all this and I spent over £200 on purchasing the box a few weeks ago lol... so i'm feeling kinda gutted now that the keys don't update... Thanks for your help mate!!

You spent quite a bit there, you could have got a HD box for that much! Never mind, the image files are in the private FTA: http://www.techwatch.co.uk/forums/25...oad-links.html

If your box is a nokia then most likely it is a 2x chip. If a sagem, take off the cover and count how many amd/intel chips it has. Do a forum search for pics on where to find the chips if you are struggling
