Ive just flashed my friends box with new firmware,seemed to of downloaded without any problems but tried it and all i got was a blank screen,i cannot get main menu up change channels or anything close to working again,tried flashing it a couple of times but to no avail. Thing is i flashed my own box and its working perfect.can anybody help me before i give it him back and tell him its a brick? thanx

yeah is stuck on 0001,tried switching off and on again,on box and remote but wont move from 0001,thanx

after flashing should be 0000 on front, sounds like a bad flash

nothing at all.ive tried pressing all the buttons as stated,no response,ive flashed plenty of these in the past but this is the first time ive see this

same thing happend to me yesterday after i flashed my box with new firmware,i did a factory reset and reflashed with older firmware rescaned box got all channels back and then flashed it with new firmware all workin great now

have you tried starting the install then power on the box at the plug also i know you make think it silly but have you replaced the batteries in rcu

i know this sounds like a daft question but how can i do a factory reset when all i get is a blank screen,is there a reset on or inside the box.

Hi

Sounds like a bad flash, reflash again and when its finished will be on 0000.

Then go into menu and I think config settings and reset box to factory default 6952 or 6887 depending on your symb rate for your area. and rescan, should go to another page choose your provider and let it scan, that should be you sorted.
