No because they have no talkback. If there was a chance of getting detected do you think anyone would use them.

put it this way. If Virg*n could detect ANYONE using a eurvox, why would they put adverts on tv so people can grass on anyone using one ?

The one I have, the EX1000 is tiny, yea it looks like a little freeview box.. Funny aint it, these and freeview boxes can be tiny, but yet proper VM and Sky boxes seem to have stay being rather large.. Does anybody like showing off their TV gadgets these days, it was the way back in the 80's when you were posh if you had a Video player and then Satelitte... I wonder if we'll see a dodgey-box ever made as small as one of them discrete Freeview scart adaptors.. These, sly boxes, vm boxes, they're all decoding mpeg2 just the same.. whats size gotta do with it (dismissing things like PVR gubbins etc etc)

i had a virg*n V+ until i saw had crap it was with 1 HD channel on for 2 hrs a day. I bought a Eurovox Max V and shown my dad it. He then canceled his Virg*n TV and bought a Eurovox same as me, thing is he didn't know it was hush hush and he asked the Virg*n engineer to fit it.....and he did
The engineer came and collected the old silver sammy and hooked up a pirate box.

Thats cause some of 'em have no clue what they're doing, like, they get fed up shifting boxes in an Argos warehouse, change jobs and instantly become a VM engineer in a day ( or as long as it takes to get a key to a Van )

Dont ya just love the way the word "Engineer" is so loosely used these days... If you can turn a screwdriver and scissor some electrical tape, you're an Engineer... Easy aint it ... lol
