That kit is primarily designed for 28E because of the dish size, but you could have a play on the other satellites if you wanted no problem.

If it is just 28E that you actually want then a Freesat box would be more suitable. if you have a Sky dish already, you can connect it to that.

Whether that kit is any good, depends on what you want to do with it really.

Its a fair price with receiver, dish and LNB included.

Find a spot on a south facing wall with an unobstructed view of the sky above 20 degees elevation.

Then bolt it to the wall.

To find out which way to point the dish use Satellite Finder / Dish Pointing Calculator with Google Maps | DishPointer.com

I suggest that you start with 28E.

The rest are listed here LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite or FlySat Satellite Home.

You may get 7W verticals, but I dont know what size dish you have and your location.

Down in Kent I could get some 7W verticals on a 85cm Fortec star dish ( City 7 TV and Dubai TV).

On a Triax TD110 in Kent I can also get the MBC channels as well, in fair weather, virtually 24/7.

Motor wise I would recommend the the Moteck sg2100a. I have also had the opportunity to try a Dark motor recently, and that seemed ok ALSO.

Yes, either should fit on the dish.

EDIT, NO chance what so ever on that Maplin dish for 7w

Well,I would say, start with a cheap Technomate or Clarke Tech equivalent, and then migrate to a Dreambox.

Graham - the Nilesat signals are exceptionally weak in the UK. Up north you are probably looking at a 1.5m dish just to get reasonable reception of the stronger V channels. If you want the really weak H channels then start looking at a dish around 3m in diameter!
