getting blank screen after firmware flash or numbers on eurovox,fix

this might work for some but seems like some people after flashing their boxes get a blankscreen or 0000 or 0001 on the box and blank screen, now one way to fix this is to disconnect scartlead from back of eurovox to tv and have a coxial cable (i think its called this) from the back of eurovox to tv, no scart lead necessary

so from the back of eurovox where it has tv/vcr to tv

i dont know why i think some people when flashing their boxes somehow it takes out the scart av so it wont show up on tv until uve done a factory default now obviously u cant see anything on the screen so u cant do a factory default so take out scart and link ur tv and eurovox with a coxial cable instead of scart and scan on tv to pick it up should ask u for a code its 000 or 1004

this problem usually happens after jtag but have had it in another post due to firmware flash and when linked box to tv without scart it came up
worth a try for all of you
if nothing else works then obviously just jtag if you know how to

If this is the problem you are a genius.

One small problem though. Can you connect with an ordinary tv cable rather than a coax cable with all the connections etc coz I just threw a load of coax cable out the other day.

If this does work is there a way to revert back to using the scart?

no urs says no signal on the tv atleast u get that, this is the fix where u get only a blank screen nothing at all on screen what soever but i mean u could give it a shot and see but i doubt this method will fix ur problem as u atleast get no signal when u press manu on ur eurovox remote do uget to the menu screen if u do then this fuix aint for u its for when u cant see anything or get things like 0000 or 0001 on the front of the lcd of eurovox . one thing i noticed in ur post u said when u revert back to the april firmware the ufl ur box start working ok and obviously u dont get the encrypted channels unless u manually put in the codes. well have u tried this how about not reflashing with the april firmware try the 02/07/2007 release and then try flashing the latest firmware on see if that makes a difference it shouldnt really but worth a try . i cant think as to why u get no signal (well apart from the usual) checking cables but u say when u flash back to april firmware everything ok but encrypted channels coming up as scrambled.

and if ur using a splitter then try take it off and run a direct feed to box see if it helps,
