Default TM3100 rescued! New Problem... :-(

Tried the rs232 on my media centre for the flash (big-up to nano-chicken and robbo!)
New firmware from alsat on... all seems good until i go to channels and it says Thor 1e???
in fact every channel is east... WTF anyone out there got a good fw for 3000 series or do i av 2 go back to legit with no "open" channels

You can try downloading official TM firmware back onto the receiver; after that you can then consider reloading the Alsat firmware.

It is not the firmware that is the problem, it is the channel list. It is recomended to always back up your existing channel list before replacing the software.

But since you haven't, one place to start would be to go find a channel list on a***t and download it to the receiver.

If you can't find one, you will have to add all the satellites back in manually.

I put the official fw on and went to default channel list thor etc.. still say east??? WTF???
I'm going to try some new channel lists!!

Yes, it won't matter waht formware you put on. The channel list and firmware are separate things.
