Done the co-ax, got screen but fuzzy writing . I go in by 1004 then, then pressing Menu. I can move between icons on top but which one to choose because writng is fuzzy. Can you help me with keystrokes to clear data etc.

try re-flasing the firmware from april and then using the co-ax method, you shouldnt have a fuzzy screen doing it that way

its the second last one, then ok it
the 3rd one down, put in pin code the ok

then 2nd on to factory default.

Thanks for all the info.
I don't think the blue box i've got is cloned....its got all those green nobblies inside.
Followed all your advice.

1. Installed Firmware UFL_Max_BLUE_21_04_08
2. Connected box using co-ax from tv/vcr on back panel to tv.
3. Cleared data to default factory settings.
4. Connected Scart
5. Installed some non scrambled channels. Picture/sound O.K

While waiting for new firmware, must the box be updated with intermitent firmware first .

the fix indeed does work only temp though....

i have erased all chann and restored to default re-upped the firmware again and then imported a CDF...everything works fine till you reboot the box or the code gets updated for the second time then it reverts back to the 7376 code....

i have redone the full thing from scratch again...but reverted back to old firmware and you can reboot safely but obviously will now only give council tv....

defo a firmware glitch crashing the scart socket or screwing something up major with some max blue 2006's

this is not a clone issue....

good thing is you can roll back and you box aint bricked - well hopefully not...
