is my eurovox max v 2008 a clone???

hi all, first off i have the eurovox-clones.doc and been comparing my box (black) to the photos on the doc but im still confused lol, the tuner is indeed only 8 slots long witch indicates its not a clone BUT my box is a mixture between the piks, for instance, the power bit on the left dosent look like either of the piks(clone or real), mines on a white board instead of brown, and i dont have the green resistors, and also the scart housing is black not silver witch indicates a clone, but my ribbon wires are solid not seprate, there is no red paint on the screws, they are black (indicates not a clone) and like i said the tuner is only 8 slots long, and dosent go the full lenth of the board, are the pictures on the doc from a 2006/7/8 box? can u see why im confused?, for the record my box has the april kuro firmware on it, i got my box pre flashed,

hi i have the same problem but mines got red paint and stranded ribbon cables but i have 8 vent slot which measure tuner card aswell also ive got a silver cover over scart and black reisistors but ive been told off 1 forum its sound like a clone so ime confused aswell lol

On the rear of the unit there are differences. A small difference but the screws holding the rear components to the
are zinc plated on the original (Y1) and chrome plated on the inferior (R1)
The original box has a label stuck to the casing and the chassis stating that if the seal is damaged or broken then the warranty is void (Y2) the inferior box does not have this (R2)
(yes, I voided my warranty to bring you this information )
The inferior box states country of manufacture (R3) whereas the original does not. Note: This does not mean that the inferior box was ever in or near Korea. It just states so as fact.

cheers for info, i have a friends max v box sat next to me its about 1.5 / 2 yrs old, 2006/07 box, the rear of the boxes are exacly the same zink screws, no country of manufacture, warrenty seal on both, but the warrenty seals are diffrent, on the 2006/07 box, it has eurovox max v warrenty void if removed, on mine sticker is smaller and does not say eurovox max v on it, its the insides that are slightly diffrent ie the power boards mines white with no green resistors???, is the 28 april 2008 signal fix firmware clone safe?? as this is the firmware on my box atm, coz if its not clone safe then my box cant be a clone as it would not be working with the firmware its got

Look underneath has it got a big yellow security protected sticker?
(if it does it will be a clone)

no its got no yellow sticker, it has a small white 1 with wot looks to be a serial no- RAY07HT0043******, on my friends older box it has a white sticker 2 but starts EUROVOXMAXV0802345**** and has a barcode underneath, mine also has the reset button motherboard if this helps, im gonna try get a pik of it up

As far as I am aware there are no Eurovox Maxv 2008 clones ....of course its always possible somone has been at it so to speak,not surprised at anything these days ....

Like I said anything is possible these days,I did say as far as I am aware ...caveat emptor ....
