Hi there does anyon knowl how to flash a ev2 with the blue max software i have tried flashing it with old blue software which goes on no problem and works but the remote doesnt which i know. but when i try to flash it with the new blue updated software it says this is not fit for your box anyone any ideas how to get around this ?

jtag it and then put the blue tsop on it u already know that u will have to get the eurvox max remote anyway why dont u just wait a wekk or so the firmware might be out mate if not then do it

it can be done without jtag i have done it before cant remember how tho i havet blue software on it now the i got the feb 2007 blue software on it just cant get the latest on i have a spare max remote

yep i know some people have done it without jtag but ive only eva done it the jtag way, but i am sure someone on here said its backward compatibale but not sure . but the jtag way uve got the blue tsop on the box so uve basically converted the box to bluebox and should be able to put on any blue firmware without any problems whatsoever

even if u do it jtagging it the remote will stop working

ok some eurovox 2 accept the blue firmware just chance anyway i dont think u can flash it with the new ufl, so what u usually do no jtagging involved is download dnupman get the firmware for blue box as a .bin file or what ever it comes as and try that way, but be warned if u get into trouble with ur box dont blame me lol

but most likely it will work

u might have to flash it with an old blue firmware first to get it to blue then try the ufl the newest blue firmware

Sounds okay,

But only problem remote stops working,

Are they definatley gona bring out a firmware for ev2?
