hi
please excuse this question and im sure its hidden somewhere in the archives but..........some friends i know use the cable decoders that have to be flashed to view some channels .what im wondering is is there a satellite box available that does the same thing without having to install another dish lazy git and possibly insulting to you guys but id rather know before i begin my long road to satellite nirvana. many many thanks on your patience understanding and wisdom in advance.

No there is not one available. That is because Sky is secure, so you have to use a valid subscription to watch it.
However, there is a reasonable amount available with a motorised dish.
