Default CD-R or CD-RW

Do you guys prefer CD-R or CD-RW

CD-R has fast writing speed but obviously you can not use it again.
CD-RW has slow writing speed but you can use it multiple times.

I prefer CD-RW (I prefer to save my money )

I prefer CD-RW, however I use CD-R when I need to copy music because some old players still don't recognize CD-RW.

I also prefer cd-rw as you do because they last longer, but cd-r's are useful for taking things places when your a computer expert like your ultimate toolkit.

I use CD-R's if I am burning a music cd that I am going to give to someone.

If I am using it to backup files, I use a CD-RW.

Well, just to let you all in on a well know fact about CD_RW's,
DO NOT USE THEM!!
you think you are saving money now, by re-using your cd's, but if you do this often, you will burn out the drive. Granted you can get one for 24.99 now days, but still, would you rather spend 24.99 a month on cds, or 49.99 a month on cds, and a drive. every time you use it to erase, it burns the laser out 5x as fast as writing.
