Default Channel data ?

Ok, I`m a moron.....In the guide below how do i Upload my channel data...I have no clue how to do this.

Quote:
upload your channel data first and save to desktop or you will have to do a fresh scan
If your not sure which box yours is blue or red look at the box from above and you will
see the tuner on the right, were the cable feed goes in.
The blue 06 box tuner will measure 12 slots in the grill/slots and the red 07 will measure 8
1.connect your box to pc with the rs232 ports using a null modem cable (pictured) available from lincsat for a few quid Lincsat's Nick-nacks (Shop)
2.plug your box in, it dosnt matter if its in standby
3.open the new firmware and click on download and it will search you ports for a eurovox
once found click ok/yes and it will start to download, takes about 3 mins
thats it it really is that simple

Depends. What do you want to do with it?

It says in the guide to save it to save from doing a fresh scan.....So i have got to where it is saved on my desktop.....after i flash my box what then? Do i need to download the saved channel data back to the box? If so, how do i do this? I`m not technical minded as you probably have guessed.

All you do is reverse the procedure. Open the updater, connect everything up, browse to the CDf file you saved on your desktop, then click the download button at the bottom of the screen, and your channel file will be sent back to your box, then disconnect from the pc, plug everything back in to the TV and Robert should be your Mother's Brother.
