hi all
euro 2006 blue box has gone dead after flashing new firmware just reading no signal someone said it might need to be jtag if so is there a link to download jtag

You have to fit the j-tag m8,

Getting more info off peeps there seem to be some that when they use the new firmware it works on their clones thats good news for them, but still do be careful if you do try it and always have a jtag kit at hand it cant hurt
if you manage to brick your box then heres how to jtag
list of things you will need 1) jtag kit 2) skymax software 3)tsop for your box
now heres what you do

1) connect jtag
2)After connecting jtag turn box on and wait until it has booted
3)Open sky max.
4) Select 2mb
5)click connect
6)click,erase, should say successful
7)click write, window will open select the tsop file for example (2006tsop(blue).bin or select the correct tsop for what ever your box is
8)should now write to eurovox wait a couple of minutes
9) if 'ram fail' shows dont worry turn box off then on and you should see 0000 or 0001 on lcd, thats it your done

dont worry ur remote wont work yet so scan for channels, do erase channels first the default and full scan

if u need to then just reflash with safe clone firmware

i was told you might be able to if there are digits on the front display, take out the scart and use a standard RF lead from the VCR RF socket and see if you get a picture on screen. You may have to tune your TV to get something around CH38 to CH40. If you do then go into menu and set it correctly if it asks for a PIN use 1004

You can now factory reset and scan. tried that got menu to come up but the screen on tele to distorted it was hard to see what drop down boxes i had to use but it looked like they were all empty any ideas
