Hi,

I have a mate who has the new V+ Box from virgin, He wants to have someone modify his but I have warned him off as he could get caught. He said that the guy is disabling the talkback so there is no way virgin will know is he right or am I right to tell him leave alone.

NEVER touch a subbed box.
When they come asking for it one day that's when the **** will hit the fan.
If its not subbed then thats fine as long as talk back is cut

What is a subbed box then? Is it only with the V+ boxes?

a subbed is a subscribed box meaning it belong to vm not you

well i will give him help, ffirst you need a card reader to find what rom you got, hopefully its a rom 11 but dont worry if its not, then depending what you got you need a unlooper, the rest is easy
