Default Box to Box firmware tranfer (kryptview)

Hi there,

can anyone please give me instructions on how to do a firmware transfer from one k/v to another. A friend of mine has succesfully updated his box, but when he tries to do his mates, it says "download not requested". he is using same PC and same cable. He had the same problem in April and had to do a box to box transfer but cant remember how he did it now.

box that says download not requested would be your 1st connection to your tv...link both box's then request download...it should get info from 2nd box

Hoppy, does he need to spur boxes via scart or a cable from output to input? Also, last time he did it by connecting the boxes to one another via RS232, no TV connection, but I dont know how he started the download from one to the other, and he cant remeber either.
