How to reset pin on Samsung 2100C N*L box

Hi,

My friend has changed his pin on his Samsung 2100c box but can not remember it.

Is there any way to reset the pin?

if you have ird and b/k make a card with fun net id and pin setter program,easiest way to do it
do a search for the program and all is explained..

My mates in the same s**t hes brought a box second hand with no pin number, looks like it going to stay that way if youve to go to all that trouble with box leys and ir numbers
i should have thought there was an easier way than that

searched for pin setter program but cant find anything..could you point me in the right direction?

I think you can just hold in standby>left>right>ok & add power on these boxes to reset it?? You can then go into engineers menu to set your new pin. If your in pure-ntl netid will set iteself if not you will just have to use the net-id funcard method.

what kind of box is it?

All you need do is short the battery for 5-6 seconds (while its unplugged from the mains) reboot into eng menu, scroll to page 2 or 3 I think and you should see 4 dashes _ _ _ _ somewhere at the bottom of the page where the pin setting is. Using arrow keys on remote navigate to it and set it to what you like, dont forget to save, the 4 _ _ _ _ should now show 4 **** After 10pm you dont need a pin anyway.
