Red face Vplug 29/11/08 nagra.mdl Crash.

The Vplug is not working and keeps crashing.
Has anyone got any idears.

I use 64bit vista and a 1501 card, had to sign the driver but had no problems in the past.

I'm using ProgDvb 32bit (64bit ProgDvb dose not seem to start Vplug any ideas?), the latest version and Vplug 2.3.9 with the latest Nagra.mdl 29/11/08.

I give it a few mins to get the code yet it crashes ProgDvb with 'GraphCmdWnd2 not responding' coming up at the bottom of the screen.

I did have Vplug running before this latest VM attack and also had Vplug 2.3.9 with out the new Nagra.mdl, but I think I used a softcam.key to get it running and have not seen it roll.

Is this new Vplug version not compatable with 64vista?
Or has anyone got any ideas? I don't really care for TV but would like to see it all working. And always good to share experience.

Thanks

Try deleting progdvb.ini ,then when you start up Progdvb again you will have to reselect your tuner card and provider because it may be some setting that has changed (it's happened to me on a couple of occasions), I also find it helps to disable some of the modules as they can cause problems.

Thanks for the advise.

I reset ProgDvb as you suggest.
And it still crashed.

I could not see how to disable modules so I moved all bar the Nagra.mdl.
I also removed all .bin files to reset, though I've tried reinstalling.
And it still crashed

The last message in Vplug is 'Max. instructions exceeded'.
Yet it's frozen.

It dose not crash straight away just after a few mins. just when you think it may get there.

modules are found under settings>module list, also in settings>options make sure plugin API is auto, maybe try running also on one cpu

All the very odd...

I just got it working....

I removed it. Reinstalled it... Then it crashed...Took it off B*C HD. Tried again and it got it... Yet I can now switch to B*C HD and it's fine.

I just don't understand

Thanks I'll have to update my image at some point and will have to do it all again, will let you know if I have any more problems as just might have got lucky.
