eurovox 2 firmware fix????? E*BAY

hi all,

so like many others, i am waiting for a fix for the older eurovoxes - i have a ev2, it has always worked fine, so i never needed to update my box - until now maybe?

so i hunted the net high and low and havent found a fix , i guess it'll turn up on the bigmaq toolbar if and when it is availble -

HOWEVER!!!

on eb*y several sellers claim to be able to sell the fix for my box, they say ( quote )
- firmware will fix all eurovoxes.

its only a few quid, but i am a bit scepticle , cos surely if there was a fix, it would be up on the toolbar?
and i dont wanna waste my money.

any thoughts?

and if there is indeed a fix out there,
( and i aint been looking hard enough )
than please send me a link.

any one with an old ebay account not in use, or an account they dont mind getting an unpaid item strike on should 'buy' these and leave bad feedback for these t*ssers trying to make money off other peoples hard work

i am thinking of putting an ebay add up myself and start bidding at 1p the header would be eurovox 100% fix, then in the description i will direct people here and tell them not to press the buy button and not to buy freeware software off ebay. would that be allowed techwatch?

proboably would not be allowed by e-bay as i did something similar a while back and they removed it stating that you cant use e-bay as a shop window.

I think the site would fail under the traffic.Just look what happened at the last two major software changes

so then you sell your item...your fix for 1p
then send the buyer to here, no rules broken
