Question FloppyDTV and no Channels

Hi,

Hopefully someone can help

I got rid of my TT budget because I was unsuccessful in integrating it with VMC. So I bought myself a FloppyDTV which arrived today (yey) but I'm still getting no channels installed.

Here is what I did:

- Installed Firewire card
- Plugged in FloppyDTV
- Plugged in Zeta with Joker pre flashed
- Booted up and installed MCE drivers
- Got my BK from the Zeta
- Made my Fun card
- Booted VMC and it detected a card installed
- Went through setup and when it came to the channel scan I got nothing

I know I am missing something massive here, like a Transpoder list perhaps? I have the UK Brute Force but how (if I do) get VMC to use that?

I also noticed that in Devman that it shows as a FireDTV, is that correct?

Also does anyone have anymore information on the Headend Registry hack I have read about?

I'm sorry to come across as a noob, give me a pace or a sammy and I can be up and running in a matter of min, but this has got me stumped lol

(I also feel foolish as I could have attached it to the pins on my Mobo but didn't realize, I think I'm having a Blond day today lol)

Hi idbeholdl, so have you done “settings/TV/tv signal/setup tv signal" went through region setup etc, selected DVB-T and done a scan??? Fire DTV is correct in device manager, do this and if you get the FTA we’ll go from there.

I have found most of the transponder lists out there to be quite out of date, but you should be getting at least a few channels.
If I remember correctly there is an all areas download on one of the posts in this forum that has transponder lists for most areas in the UK, but I can't seem to find it.
Try what willin has suggested, if it comes up with no channels found after a few seconds it will be something to to with your transponder list. If it takes a while but finds no channels, it's time for someone with a bit more knowledge than myself to step in
