please help me blue box problems
hi there - i am having a weird problem.
i have a great knowledge about the eurovoxes but this has stumped me big time.
what it is right. the box is working fine and going through channels, it even allows to update codes manually, but i am trying to flash this box with the new firmware release 30.11.08.
i have done about 12 at the moment but this one box doesnt seem to want to accept the firmware.
it connects to the box no problem the box says `DNLD` and the pc is loading software but when it gets to 7% it just stops and crashes.
only way to cancel is to remove power and plug back in.
i have downloaded more software as thought it could be corrupt. even flashed more boxes so it must be the box.
it doesnt even accept and earlier version firmware.
at the moment it has 2.10 on it but thats it.
it is a genuine box this one has been working for years, just dont understand why it wont allow me to update the firmware.
please help guys im struggling on this one

you could try to jtag the box if you have one and try to flash it then if in doubt get the jtag out lol

try a box to box firmware update. Worked for a maxv that was just getting the message receiver not found on the pc__________________
Have a little search before starting a new thread.

Plug working ev into tv, then connect broken ev to working one via null modem cable, now on the menu of the working one go to system information then press 1968 and follow the on screen instructions. Good luck.Quote:Originally Posted by mike281180
