Just wondering if the new firm could be put on my Thebox PVR, if not have I just gained a doorstop?

the box pvr is different to the box(starview2)

So I guess I now have a freeview box? Ill check out the pennies and see what the new ones cost.

try reflashing it several times with the correct file.

It will still work,you will have to manually put the keys in when they roll,if you didn`t already know this,but i thought the firmware for the box worked for the box pvr,can anyone confirm this.

Keys have to be put in manually at the moment no new firmware out for the PVR don't use any other firmwares...
Sadly the PVR is not @ the top of developers lidt for updates and development but apparantly it still supported.

Thanks for the update just hope they do eventually get it sorted i'm starting to get fed up with having to enter the keys manually.

it will not be as often now roocy and if you have done it a fair few times

it takes seconds hang tight m8 i am sure your fix will come
