You need the USB adapter that has a 'male' RS232 conector on the end & you connect this to the RS232 lead that should have come with your box..then plug the other end into your STB...Make sure you have the drivers installed...On mine I have to select Com3...Also make sure that your Kryptview is switched on and is displaying a channel number on the digital display on the front panel....Also make sure you are pretty quick on the 'red, red, standby' buttons if that is the method you are using.
Hope this is of some help, but if not then I'm afraid I cannot help any further. |

Hi All,
I'm hoping there is someone here who can solve the issues I have trying to flash my KV box. I get the message 'download not requested' every time I try to flash the box. I have tried using all 3 methods to flash (plug box in after clciking start, pressing the red button twice, and also turn off box, click start then turn on. I have also used all the available com ports on my device manager on the pc, and matched this up on the loader software. I have tried to delete all software and firmware. then downloaded it again. I have tried 2 cables, both null modem cables. I have cehcked the settings on the com port so they are the same as suggested on instructional video. I have been trying for over a week now, with no success. Does anyone have any fresh ideas that may prevent me creating a kv shaped hole in my lounge window. Cheers ![]()

Hoppy thanks for the offer of help. You have sent me everyting I said I have already used in my previous post. And everything that you did send me is already available on this site and a few others I have viewed. I thought you had a solution that would help me to get past the 'download not requested' message popping up. Thanks for the effort anyhow. For anyone else who is unsure of where to get the stuff for putting the flash on your kv box: Digital Kaos - Downloads - Arnet Kryptview |
