Eurovox Red, real problem here guys.

hey everyone!!

not posted for a long time now,

i just flashed a eurovox red box and the probelm is i am getting no signal on the box. i dont know whats wrong. itworked very well with the code 4 the past few days and now that i have updated its giving me no signal.
these are some notes which might help any of you.

I have flashed my red box a few times now, with 30/11/08, april 08 and nov 07
I have looked at it in more detail now and have found the following,
After flashing, the system data still shows version from April. Is this correct?
It detects version 2.0 and not 2.1 would this make a difference.
While flashing it goes well i.e accepts box downloads file, writes file etc..
RF lead if fine, have checked signal with another box and all OK
i have flashed other box with same null cable and PC with no probz.
What could be wrong

are you sure its not a clone and also haVE YOU TRYED FACTORY RESET AND BOX TO BOX TRANSFER

I think its now detecting version 2.0 and not 2.1 because you have also Flashed it already. I'm having a simular issue where I have flashed my box a few days ago with the lastest firmware and when I come to flash it again it says version 2.0 just like yours but it won't flash as there is a coms port problem?
Strange that both of us have tried to flash a second time around but have experienced version problems and now fault problems. Our issues are slightly different but it mat be because I've got a black box (eurovox max v)
- anyone else in the same boat?

Did you try a rescan?

I had 2 out of 8 boxes saying no signal (both older blue and red 2006/07 ones!) and a rescan fixed that.

I had 2 rescan a max-v today for the same problem,flashed it loaded a cdf it displayed no signal.
Did a rescan then loaded the cdf,all was well.

I am having the same problem with my Evox blue. When sayng "rescan" are you guys talking about powerscan here? If so i have tried that a couple of times & its not working.
