You should be able to get v*rgin digital, just need to plug into feed. You will be able to get all channels.

What you need to do is ...

Build pc
install vista either x86 or x64
Install FloppyDTV c/ci and Joker CAM
Install an analogue card if you want to get a proper epg (you will only use this for the installation process, but will need a cable box to get feed into it for tuning)
Update to sp1/TVpack2008/and most recent updates
Edit registry for you tansponders codes
Program a Funcard with an autoupdating image for your area (you will need the box key for the joker cam)
Install vista codec pack
Run media centre
Set up tuners and scan for channels
Disconnect analogue signal, merge channels >1000 manually
Away you go !

This is only a basic guide for you, all the rest of the info can be found in the forum.

If you just want to have tv on your pc the technotrend 1501c (budget card) is popular (try fleabay) make sure it is a C=cable card , if you want to use Media center (and have deep pockets) do as gaz_az says above.
