Default How to create Flash file/INT EEPRON for not NTL, TW, etc Network.

Hi,

First just to say Hi to everyone, Great forum and Happy Christmas. Now to the part where i look for info .

I treated myself for christmas to the ultimate setup.

2x FloppyDTV C
2x Jocker Cams (Proflashed to Joker)
Cas3 Plus
4 Funcards.

I Installed my Vista Fresh, Tv Pack, New Beta Drivers, Created my Transponder file. I can see the one unscambled channel my network offer but the other bring the message, This service is scambled.

I have downloaded the files from the the appropiate toolbar but how do i create all my files for my network. The network id is 5401 and all the apps only have apps for the three uk main networks. Same applies to creating the flash. Also IRD.. Can i leave this blank. Have my boxkey etc.. Just need to create my Card to decrypt the channels. PLEASE HELP

Hi,

You need to create yourself a file using a prog called Toxic7. For the IRD I just used a random number and another random number for the CAM ID, you will also see a field for the box key, enter your BK here. Leave the key fields blank. Next select the area that you are in (Ex, pure or TW) then hit save

Next load up your fun file program (not sure how you do it was a cas3 as I don't have one) and put that file in the Exteep. Load up the AU image for your area into the memory base code area and program.

Pop that in the cam and away you go

Well that's what I do with mine anyway so if I'm mistaken pop it in here and I will try and help otherwise someone with a cas3 will come along and help

For 5401 use NTL files , IRD can be anything

Also don't use cas3, just have the default joker BK

Hi,

Thanks for the answers esp re the IRD and CAM ID. I got it wrong, my NETID is 5E01. Hence why i can't use the NTL image. Any advice re creating the custom files.

Hi,

When you set the area in Toxic 7 i.e. select the area that you are in (Ex, pure or TW) what exactly does it set. Also in NetID v2 why is the net id five characters long and not 4, For example in Dublin its is shown as 49082, why not 5401. Everything is perfect except that there is no AU Flash for my provider. But i don't really understand what selecting the option sets. Thanks

49082 is franchise area, 5401 is the main provider that control the franchise ie..
dublin is franchise area NTL(pure) is the provider that controls the programing for dublin.

ps. dont know if dublin is ntl area just using it as example

don't get your provider identification confused with your network identification (net id).....if u r dublin then u r ex nt*l and provider 5401. all net ids are 5 digits.....use the new n*tl au flash file and the img i guess u downloaded from the toolbar....open the img in nagraedit and edit the bk to urs...make up an ird....save img switch extension from bn11 to .bin. flash this and the au file to ur card...pop in cam on an encrypted channel and wait up to 15 mins for kys to update.

Hi TwinTom.

Thanks for the reply. Thatis my main issue. In Ireland we don't have quite the same setup as the UK. In the Cities i.e Dublin, Cork, Waterford etc Cable is licensced to NTL (NETID 5401) outside of the main cities incldiing where i live it is Chorus (NETID 5E01). Both companies are owed by UPC but are not intregrated at this time although the are currently upgrading to provide the same service everywhere.

Does what you said still apply. can i use a NTL image even though i have a differant NETID. When creating my fun can i use 05E01 as the netid.

Thanks

shouldn't need the netid....this is used to identify ur area for scanning...this will be picked up by vmce through the cable or r u mmds....just alter ur bk to match ur cam

cheers
