Hi I cannot get any channels on my starview 4 box. I am in Rep. Ireland. Can anybody please help me. I have tried typing in 1570 to get to special menu but nothing happening. Please help me

you might need to flash your box with the new firmware 1.05 .you can find it on the tcc toolbar .hope this helps

Buddy of mine has got some channels going for me now. But I cannot access some channels like some setanta and all sky sports channels. There are $ signs on them. Please can you tell me how to get these channels.

tony press menu then 1570 on your remote then turn key to on then go back to a $ channell and let us know what happens

if you press 1570 and nothing happens you will need firmware 1.05 flashing . just sorted a mate with the same problem ,just copy /paste to your memory stick and transfer to your box .firmware is available on tcb fixes.

ok m8 wat u need to do is .... goggle bigmaq toolbar look for tbc cc toolbar download it... look at fixes n files for starview...click...click on starview usb 1.05 firmware download it on to a memory stick ..put memory stick into back of starview box..goto menu... goto usb.... click on 1.05.....do a scan.....wait till finished....goto menu press 1570 to open secret cas menu turn emu on and press default ... exit to sly sports...wait for updatin .... shud be ok...you can look at private fta under download linksunder other cable..../......hope this helps

Hi all, I'm new to this game, just got a by 1st box, a new starview 4, could not get the $ channels, so search and found your site, Great! Had to load ver 1.05 as above and follow the instructions. Can confirm it works a treat. Thanks all. !!

just found out there s a new firmware for the usb sv 4 .....1.06 (beta)...to solve epg and sound problems ...hope this helps
