Can anyone advise on what the autosort feature is on the 05/12 firmware. sorry if its a daft question but i dont know.

it sorts your channels out into favs as well as all channels mate

ie: sports, news,documentry etc

Thanks for the reply but if i get that and dont want it sorted into the order it puts it in, can i upload my channel listing and over-write it.

yes you can upload a existing cdf

or u can manually delete edit change add to the pre determined list to customise it to your choice, it takes 5 mins, but arranging fav list into order, ie bbc1 1st the bbc2 etc, can take a little time.

I never use faves at it just seems an extra button to press - just remember SS1 is 91, etc. Im ired that my dad's 1000 keeps on autosorting every time autoscan it so take my laptop and put my cdf data on and he knows 91 is SS1 and 1 is BBC1 is not BBTV test or a splash screen for naughty channel
