Default 'boot net failed' with IFA - no idea what to do

I accidentally put a 1x image on my 2x Sagem box. Now when the box starts, the lcd fills with debug stuff and the box never boots up fully.

So, reading these forums, the use of IFA, a xover cable and a null modem cable is the way to revive my box.
I've set all this up, but IFA fails to connect to my box 'I tried to connect 10 times to your box, now I give up!'

In the technical details tab, there are 10 attempts of conection, each resulting in a 'boot net failed' message.

Can anyone offer some advice here - I'm stuck for ideas?

Cheers

Sorted it!

Flashing a Dbox2 using A Null Modem Cable and Hyper Terminal

Excellent howto - pretty low-level, but works exactly as it says it will
