hi there guys, help me stop pulling my hair out please!!haha!(no joke)
i have uploaded the new fix for "the box super",and it has all flashed correctly,i get a chanel for about 4 seconds sometimes a minute, then the box keeps re-booting over and over again! i have done all the stuff in the 1570 menu,i have also tried to reset to factory settings and reflashed the new fix,but STILL the box keeps rebooting after i do this. the box i have is the "the box super" its a "starview 3" box,and im using GTROM v8.02e fix,i know how to do the flashing as i fixed a few starview 2 boxes today, done a few dboxes, eurovox, but this is the first "starview 3 the box super"i have done and cant find anyone else with a similar fault. to sumerise. the "the box super" keeps rebooting after the new GTROM v8.02e fix has been uploaded to the box. tried every thing i can think of,im positive im using the correct fix for this box. anyone help me please? thanks!

for bulging and leakage the top of the cap should be bang flat look here m8 its more bulging on the c11 is more clear if you use the zoom your c11 might be in a different place but the boards are labelled

![]() they look fine to me martin, the c21 cap has what looks like glue(probably from a glue gun in the factory) around it,but none of them look swollen. The C11 looks fine, its not swollen or leaking. will it be a firmware problem then? |

sorry m8 can not help any more the only thing i can say i have updated two of these this morning and left one on for a hour and the other has been on 3 hours with out any problems i used the firmware from tcb.cc tool bar
rather than bining it i would try just changing the c11 i did have a problem similar and that was the fault if you do change it with a 16v not 10v you can get them @ maplins 60p good luck m8

first of all, thanks for all your help martin, very much appreciated. heres the wierd thing..... ITS WORKING NOW!! i re done everything i done at the top, reflashed with the uploader for the 4th time!! and its been on for 30 minutes now!!strange or what!!! just to roeund up. 1)i reflashed with thw 7.09 beta version, plugeed box in and done the usual...no chanels, but box stayed on and didnt re-boot. 2)this got me thinking that it was a firmware issue,so i done a factory reset and then reflashed the box for the 4th time with au fix. 3)rescanned chanels, turned on emu,and instead of updating on sky sports,i used sky movies(dont know if this was anything to do with it) now its working... was this the common sign of a bad flash?and the box is in fact fine? thanks!!!!!
