Hi

Have you tried doing a scan cos thats what creates your services xml then just ftp across someones bouquet file to get channels in order.

If box is not scanning then you need to say which area so someone in same area as you might send it to you.

Regards

Hi

Check in services page that netid is for your area if not then set location for your area by pressing red then blue button.

Sometimes the symb rate is different so change that to your area 6887/6952. Then have it on all uk scanning press red button to save and do a slow scan should find transponders and let it finish. At the moment its not finding any transponders so wont find any channels.

Hi

You need to check your area netid symb and freq if you know it.

Best bet if you dont know your netid is to press red then blue button on remote then lookfor location setting or similar scroll down to see if you can find your area in list if not choose nearest one to you. Let it reboot then do scan as said before.

I get this error after scanning:

" No channels were found.
Please copy your servcies.xml and bouquets.xml.
Or execute a scan using 1.73 Ultra mode.
Blue Button.
Cryogenic/Sportster Menu.
Sportster Mode Menu.
Sportster 1.72 Ultra Mode.
Then after the dbox reboots...
dbox button -> Service Menu -> Channel Scan "

What does this all mean! I dont have a clue what to do now ..

Hi

Some boxes dont scan as well now as they`re getting old. So you need to ftp across a services file from your area.

At the moment this image is no good to you as you will need to ftp the rom fix to your box.

If I were you I`d download Lincsats AU image and flash to box so you dont have to ftp to box and literally start fresh, some images scan better so you never know then take it from there.

Regards

Oh i see, this is too much for me to do i think as i'm a noob to all this, so i dont think, reflashing is a good idea ( although im not computer illiterate as i set up my own website etc ) But i just am not sure what to do now, i think like the easiest thing would be to ftp a new services.xml and bouquets.xml ( as i can do this ) but i just dont have the files ..
