hi there ive got 2 blak 4001 boxes the problem is 1 of the boxes is stuck on err2 and dont seem to want to do anything and the other is will only boot up as far as ap52 has anyone got any ideas would be very grateful.

ap52 possible signal problem or tuner cimm needs replacing.
err2 clean contacts on simm card with soft rubbed or meths as sometimes err2 cuased by dirty contacts.

i've known ap52 to be wrong net id

Are you in pure ntl area? if not thats why you have those errors as they are pure stb.
If your in pure try pulling red jumper and re-booting.

hi yes im in pure and what is this cimm thing also net id is correct 00022

cimm is the bit cable screws onto. this is the component where the talkback is disabled in.

i have a pc 1000 also reading err 2 but has no simm any help plz
