Letter encryption problem

I have box pvr & have lost $ channels. I can go into system setup/parental control/i 2007, autoupdate is on. When exit & try viewing $ channel, message says wait for picture gets up to about 18% & then starts all over again. When go into Nagravision I, II default is always N*L even though i am with T******T. When i set T******T i can change numbers but not letters. I have seen info that says eg that Pause button = A & Sound = B etc but this does not work on my remote.

Has any body any ideas please????

get the updated software and load it on the box

Thanks for advice. I am new at this any advice on how to do this will be much appreciated & where software can be found.

Not an expert at all at this however - I would assume that when you go into Nagravision I, II default it does not matter which one is there it just gives you the option to edit any of them.
With regards to the letters mine is like a mobile i.e. multiple presses of '1' will cycle through '1' 'a' 'b' 'c' 2 will do 2,d,e,f etc etc.

I may be talking crap, and I am sure someone will tell me if I am but hope this helps a little.
