Unhappy Problem With the new fix for Digivox

Hi, I have the silver digivox, i have downloaded the new latest fix for silver digivox from bigmaq toolbar.

I have connected the digivox to my computer through the serial port, opened up the download program and located the .bin file and clicked download. But the problem is that it stays there and the progress bar doesn't move. Any idea what i'm doing wrong?

im using a RS-232 cable which one side is 9 pin female, my computer only has a 25 pin female port so the other end of the cable is male 25 pin.

any idea what im doing wrong? please help

hi sounds to me you need a null cable and a usb to null cable adapter, are you using a lappy or pc.xp or vista? could be a com port issue, needs to be set to com 1,2,3, or4 in device manager

Im using a PC with XP on it.

How do I know if the one I have is a null cable, on the box it says "Nikkai Serial Lead (RS232)"

when i go to device manager and click on to "Ports (COM & LPT)", it only shows 1 LPT port which is called Printer Port (LPT), does this mean I don't have a port and need USB cable?

right im guessing if only showing printer then your lead is not detected..are you connecting with a usb to null adapter and a null cable ? if so have you loaded the driver for the usb adapter? the 25 pin bit is confusing me? id use a usb to null myself and forget about the 25 pin bit
