dreambox ftp problem

I'm looking for some advice as im having problems connecting to my dreambox dm500c from my pc through ftp, my pc just wont recognize the box. If someone could point me in the right direction to getting connected i would highly appreciate it, my settings are all below.

dreambox settings
ip: 192.168.0.3
netmask: 255.255.255.0
type: LAN
nameserver: 192.168.0.2
gateway:192.168.0.2
port: 80

my "VIA Compatable Fast Ethernet Adapter" settings are
ip: 192.168.0.2
submask: 255.255.255.0
default gateway: 192.168.0.2
both DNS Servers are blank

my flashfxp settings are
site name: dreambox
ip: 192.168.0.3
username: root
password: dreambox (i have also tried dbox, dbox2 and commando and none of them work).
port: 80

How is your Dreambox connected to your PC? How is your PC connected to the internet?

Open a dos command window and type ipconfig /all. You should get a list of the pc lan connections so that you can check the settings.

Have you checked ur windows firewall settings. i always turn my firewalls off when trying to connect otherwise i cant ftp in my dreambox.

it could be password prob as some images have it same as image name
