Eurovox MaxV missing channels-Bolton

Hi guys. I was a total newbie with all things Eurovox until the boxes went down couple weeks ago. After having read up on this site, Ive managed to get the box up and running again but having problems with some channels.

As I forgot to upload my channel list before flashing I lost all the channels I originally had (duh- I know!) and now after doing a full rescan I seem to have found most of the channels and some new ones.(new ones- slysports news, sly real lives, arts etc.) However Im having trouble finding sly1,2,3 and slysports1,2,3 as they are supposed to have been added by Vermin in november.

I was hoping somebody could tell me the frequencies for these channels in bolton(daubhill area) or direct me to a CDF file I may be able to use. Ive looked around everywhere for updated CDF's but only found ones for manchester. Problem with that is for some reason when I try to have a look at whats on the CDF by pressing 'edit' in UFL it just crashes with the message 'DNupman MFC application stopped working'.

This is the correct info for my area – Nottinghamshire

All the Sultana Sport channels ( And some sly channels 1,2,3 ect) have moved to frequency 235.00 Mhz, (in Notts area yours maybe different)
To re-tune these,
1, Go to menu, installation, User installation. Press Green for channel edit, then Red for Add
2, Set frequency to 235.00,(or your area frequency) and rate to whatever the rest are set to (Notts Area is 6.887) Save this channel,
3, Then when you're back at the channel list press Red to update channels, This will then scan through all the channels (Transponders) and add the Sultana sport channels

Belfast and the Symbol rate is 6.887 freq is 283 Mhz for all Sultana channels
teesside area need to rescan frequency 371 mhz
freq for glasgow is 347
It's 338 in Portsmouth.
Manchester and the frequency is 354.00
East London ex C&W 234.750 Mhz

If you wish to see the cdf file there is a software called voxer you can use that to view cdf files as i had the same problem as you.

Thanks for the info philsuexxx, however my faves have gone screwey now.
If i go into my 'add favourites' in the menu, i can see that all the sly sports are in there with a yellow heart signifying 'sports', and they are on the 1st set of faves too, (i checked), but they simply do NOT appear in the list when watching tv. The same for quite a vew more channels that seem correctly assigned but don't appear in the list.
I've rebooted the eurovox, but to no avail!

Can someone shed any light on this please?

K.Jacko that favourite problem was one i had too. I sorted it by going to the favourite page you mentioned where the channels are highlighted with the 'hearts'. You then have to unhighlight the channels that aren't showing up and then highlight them again. save and exit and they should now appear in your favourites lists. Hope that helps as i know it isnt the best explanation. Let me know how you get on and if you need anymore help just let me know.

hey thanks for the reply. Ive been offline for a few days due to internet problems. Just tried the solution you posted as I thought Manchester frequency would be a good bet for the sly channels in bolton. However it seems as if that frequency is already in my list so that probably isn't the right one or there is a problem with my box just not picking up the sly channels. Is there any other way of getting the sly sports 1,2,3 and sly 1,2,3 channels guys? Going out of my head missing prison break and such and now 24 is going start in the new year! not to mention all the footy games missed!! any ideas would be appreciated?

do channel update. (NOT power scan), all the channels are in there u just have to find them. once autoupdate done ur fav mgr will allow re assignment

Sorry not sure if thats directed at me or k.jacko but if its at me then ive tried the update thing and still no sly sports or sly 1,2,3 channels. I get between 198-209 channels altogether. dunno why it differs but quite a lot of them are doubles. But never have sly channels mentioned above. I used to have the BICS channels so I could watch the footy on them but they've disappeared as well now.

Asif are you sorted yet ? I have a cdf file for bolton and all channels work ok for me
