hi im trying to mod this modem with a max232, after i do all this :Set your IP address to: 192.168.100.10
Set your GateWay to: 192.168.100.1

Start tftpd32.exe

Now start hyperterminal and connect to the COM port of the PC using these settings:

Bits per second: 115200
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: hardware or xon/xoff
Power the modem up.

all that happens in hyperterminal is scanning DS frequency,this seems to go on and on and on,is this normal and should i just let it finish scanning, as far i was led to believe once i power up the modem i id get the 1,2 or p option which i did but it just scanned, i thought i was supposed to get something like this: Code:

but no i dont get any of that, so what am i to do? wait till the scan is finished or am i just doin something wrong,thankyou

i've not come across a 2100 with option p dissabled but i think you have one here! search for 'console unlocker' and theres a thread by joker. have a read at that and treat your 2100 as a ambit.
