Sky are back on cable so long as NTL/Virgin upgrade Nagra to a higher encryption and all subscribers will be gettin a new smart card for standard boxes after xmas and this will defeat an unathorised viewing...

I have a MaxV 2008 box and a Virgin V+ box that i think doesn't use a smart card, not externally anyway, i also use a splitter, would Nagra encryption also knacker my box.

It already is nagra after the recent update isnt it?My box shows Nagra in the encryption type when looking at the keys.

It's bull, If they do (Highly unlikely), they will have to pay alot of money for it thus we will have to wait for boxes that actually decrypt that encryption. Not gonna happen though. Cable always has ways of getting hacked unlike satellite.

My m8 is high up at virgin and said they are fecked can't stop it and unless they spend millions they will never stop it.
