Starview 4 bugs

anyone else have a problem with the screen going blank when you browse through channels like adult etc.

once you go onto them, all other $ channels go blank for some reason, same for other channels floating around that have no real ID ( 124 tv ) etc. is this a software bug ?

its solved by turning keycode off exit exit, then keycode on exit exit. but its tiring keep having to do this.

i would be interested to see if anyone else has this issue

I thinks this is the worst starview ever, i may ebay it and get something better.

Hi Everyone
I was wondering if you Guys/Girls can help me.
I have the box (starview 4 usb) it works fine but when I turn over the channels somtimes the screen goes black but you can still hear the sound in the back ground. Everytime I turn to a next channel the screen is still black,this only happens on $ channels. I do a full scan and then go back to these channels, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. The only way that I can get all the channels back is to turn off the mains unit and turn it back on again.
Is anyonelse having this problem or is it just me.( or my box )

make sure your leads are fully pluged in
i had sim prob and found scart was not fully pushed in..

I have this same issue with the screen goin black and sound staying on, on 2 different starv 4 boxes...
Happening 2 -3 times a day..( on v5 and v6 filmware)
Starting to do my head a bit now..
Happens when you turn over channels..
I have to re-scan to solve this one..
Ive also noticed that it takes a fair while for the CHAN UPDATE proccess to work when you turn the key on..

i have probs with sound not pic using v1.06 but it is the same with v1.50 i am sure there will be another firmware on its way

I have 3 strv4`s that are all having this issue at the mo!
There all doin it on v5 and v6..
Picture fails when you turn over channels and goes black leaving sound running ok.
Can get the picture back by rebooting the bx , or resetting the key mode , but it happens again as soon as you channel flip!
I have loaded v 2 for now which seems ok but not sure if it will stay working as its an old version..
wouldnt be so bad, but i have serveral pals having the same issue that are all stressing with me as i suggested they got the 4 box lol
