How to connect Starview 3 box super to PC?

I have a PC and a Starview 3 box super, I want to connect the cable box to the PC so that I can watch TV on the PC. At the moment I have a tv card and tried connecting up with RF cable but no luck, any ideas on how to do this would be extremely helpful. If anyone has already done this can you tell me the make and model of tv card u are using and what software you are using to make it work?

I used to have a cheap tv card not sure what make but it had a phillips tuner, it worked ok with wintv drivers, just used coax from stb to card , and scan to find channel, analogue but good picture.

Is the tuner seperate from the card, and wud u be able to point me in right direction as don't have a clue what ahm doing!I've tried connecting it up as u said and have attached a USB tuner that I managed to dig up, its a Asus My Cinema U3000 mini but can't pick up the signal at all

The tuner is part of the pci card, Its probably the software that needs sorting, the disc i got with the card with drivers etc was crap and wouldnt work either, i downloaded intervideo windvr and it did the trick, if you google it you can get an earlier version for free, you install it and go through the set up procedure its quite straight forward, then you go through a scan and it will pick up the frequency of the cable box on one channel, have starview on when you scan, then you just change channels on the starview to watch.
