Screwfix in the uk sell the crimp tool, Very handy to have as the ntl guys never seem to use crimp f type connectors, just those shody screw on type.

the link is http://www.screwfix.com/prods/85838/...rimping-Tool-9

I have this one which is good enough http://www.draperhandtools.co.uk/061...ct-tv-177.html

Ermm the engineers should all be using snap connectors (compression) not screw on ones, thats amatuer ****e is that ??
The correct ones are extremely good and dont fall off like some of the other ones i could mention.
These are nearly the same as i have and what most engineers have too,(some newer ones about now too)

I use the Draper crimpers, they work just fine and are well made!

There aint nowt wrong with the screw on ones if you use the right size for the size of the coax, and so long as it aint gonna be a cable thats constantly moved, pulled around or easilly snagged.. Blimey, once all your kits in place it aint gonna be an issue what type of plug is on the end, and for around 20p for a simple screw on F plug its gotta make more sense than shelling out for specialist tools and expensive F plugs to go with it aint it... :-)
