d box help

tryed another pc and the same m8 but the box wont even boot up right just sticks on a comando logo

What version of IFA are you using and whay OS is your PC running?

i tryed another dbox and thats flashed fine. i think the other box is goosed or something
just stuck on loading kernal

you could try doing the serial only flash useing hyperterminal

normaly changeing ucode helps freezing

Causes of a box freezing usually are:-

Bad connection - check all are tight and cable is also ok.
Bad or low signal - press red then blue button to check your BER, SNR and SIG readings.
Bad or corrupted image.
Maybe even the scart lead is not in correctly - had that before.

i would try an older style image {sptster}
if you still get the freezing it could be hardware fault
you not said box type as sagems can have power board faults
that give you that fault.

any freezing boxes i get i assume the tuner is dodgy,,,, as i know my feed is 100%.

like advised try a few different images, sometimes i have heard people saying they tried an alternative and it worked without the freezing but i think thats down to luck more than anything else.

it has been noted that the image i supply can also solve the problem and if not consider it a weak tuner.

have you tried a booster?
